Job Description

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Property Maintenance Manager to oversee over 70 sites across West Cornwall and South Devon, maintaining high standards and exceptional levels of service to deliver experiences that delight our guests. 

The successful applicant will have strong communication skills and the ability to build dynamic relationships with a wide range of people. We take great pride in our estate, which comprises over 260 properties across the South West. 

Our portfolio of pubs, inns, and hotels spans inspiring locations, from Bath and Bristol to the Isles of Scilly. They include go-to destinations where good times are celebrated with quality food and drink, and vibrant hubs that form part of the fabric of communities. This role is key to providing the support and maintenance required to ensure each establishment is a safe, warm, and inviting place to be. 

About you 

  • Previous experience in the hospitality sector, ideally within pubs, inns and hotels. 
  • High level project management experience and the ability to demonstrate delivering projects on time and within budget. 
  • Good working knowledge of Excel to record and track projects. 
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Strong communication skills and able to disseminate complex information in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Experience of working in a regulated and compliant environment. 
  • A good understanding of construction related disciplines, including electrical, plumbing, and health and safety. 
  • Ability to negotiate, run a tender process, and deliver value for money. 
  • Located around Exeter, South or East Devon, or Cornwall.

Additional info:

This role is full time.  You will work a 40 hour week between 09.00-17.00, and participate in the out of hours call out rota one week in five.
