Frequently barked questions

While we've done our best to answer most questions, if you have a query it's always best to pick up the dog and bone. Contact our reservation team on 0345 241 1133 for more information.

We welcome well behaved dogs into a few, specially selected, rooms at an additional charge of £15 per night, per dog.

If you are booking your room online please mention you are bringing a dog/s in the booking notes.

We want your fur-iend to feel welcome in our pubs - after all, it's their holiday too!

In each of our dog-friendly rooms you'll find:

1 x tennis ball

1 x roll of eco-friendly poop bags

1 x pack of Forthglade treats

1 x can of Proper Dog

1 x bottle of Proper Job (for you, not your pooch!)

You're free to take these away to enjoy. We also provide 2 x bowls and a mat, but please leave behind for other four-legged friends to enjoy after.

We ask that dogs are not left unattended in rooms, plus we're sure you'll want to spend your time exploring the South West together!

Unfortunately, your four-legged friend won't be permitted on all beaches throughout the year in the South West.

Check out this South West Coast Path guide to dog friendly beaches for more information.

The majority of the South West is dog-friendly, but please check before entering a café, restaurant, or beach.

In the majority of our properties, your dog will be welcomed in all areas except the restaurant. If you wish to eat together, we'll seat you in an alternative bar section - please let us know when making your booking. Please get in touch for specific pub details.

All of our pubs welcome dogs into the bar area and outside, however typically, you're four-legged friend won't be able to join you in the restaurant area.

We have a number of dog-friendly rooms available across our pub collection, please check specific pubs for further details.

* Please note our Proper Dog hamper is available in rooms only. Treats and water are made accessible in all pubs.
