We’ve expanded our wholesale business into South Wales

W e’re bringing our award-winning beer brands and extensive wholesale portfolio to new customers, following the expansion of our free trade business into South Wales.

Fronting our growth into this new trading area is Nick Jackson, our newly appointed Sales Development Manager for the region. Nick brings a wealth of experience to the role, having looked after the South Wales and South West trading areas for Matthew Clark as Business Development Manager for the past five years.

We have a network of six depots across the West Country and we are the leading wholesale distributor of beers, wines, spirits, ciders, minerals, and soft drinks in the region with over 3,000 free trade customers. Alongside our range of own-brand beers – including Tribute pale ale, Proper Job IPA, and korev lager – we work with key strategic partners to supply brands such as Heineken, Thatchers, Diageo and many more.

Forming a key part of our free trade business is St Austell Wines. With more than 650 wines in our portfolio, we sell over three million bottles of wine each year to customers across the West Country.

Dan Crabb, Sales Director at St Austell Brewery, said:

“The expansion of our free trade business into South Wales marks the latest exciting chapter of St Austell Brewery’s growth. We are excited to forge new partnerships and bring our award-winning beers and third-party brands to new customers.

“Considering the current challenges of our trading environment, we’re proud to celebrate this latest milestone as we continue to expand our footprint across the UK.”
