Author Raynor Winn to host talk on the Salt Path film at our newly renovated pub The Wellington, Boscastle
J oin us for a truly special evening at the beautifully refurbished Wellington in Boscastle as our team welcome bestselling author Raynor Winn for an intimate conversation about her inspirational memoir, The Salt Path, which is being released on film at the end of May.

Set along the very coastline that surrounds The Wellington, The Salt Path tells the extraordinary true story of Raynor and her husband Moth, who, after losing everything, set out to walk the 630-mile South West Coast Path - an act of defiance, resilience, and hope. Now adapted for the screen, we’ll celebrate the release of the upcoming film and the stunning new Penguin film tie-in edition of the book, featuring a specially designed cover. The special edition books will be available to purchase at the event, with a signing taking place after the talk.
Raynor will address an audience in the grand Chart Room of The Wellington, sharing insights into adapting the book for screen, the enduring impact of the journey, and what lies ahead. The event will kick off with a complimentary spritz and canapés from 5:30pm on the new outdoor terrace of the pub. The ticket price includes a donation to PSPA, the charity which supports people living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD) – which Raynor’s husband, Moth, was diagnosed with around the same time they lost everything.
