Aromas of ripe stone fruits, figs and dried herbs on the nose. Where as most Orange wines anonymise varietal, Animalia actually has a grassy Sauvignon tang beneath the Orange structure. Clever, tasty stuff from Emiliana.
This Orange wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes from the Casablanca Valley where the vineyards are strongly influenced by the Pacific Ocean. The grapes are fermented in concrete tanks before ageing in concrete eggs for five months with the skins.
Pair with cheeses and charcuterie. It can also be served to match with white meats and fish.
