Bursting with melon, pears and apricots. This Albariño is silky smooth with a superb fresh acidity.
It’s not an everyday Albarino – the slightly later harvest than usual and southern location of the winery give a nuanced richer style than an entry level – whilst retaining all the fresh mineral notes expected from Albarino. The winery also work the wine with more lees contact than most so the texture is a little rounder with a long finish. In summary we love it because its textbook Albariño but with more complexity, length and fantastic balance.
A friend to all things from the sea! Fish tacos, seafood risotto or grilled white fish and herby green vegetables.
