This is a robust and concentrated style of Marlborough Pinot Noir, grown on the clay soils of the Wairau Valley's southern hills. Exhibiting aromas and flavours of dark brambly fruits including cherry and plum with notes of herbs and spice. With it's subtle oak influence, this is a fruit forward style and a fine match with food.
As Chief Winemaker, Gordon Russell has been at the heart of the winery since 1993 and has developed a range of classic wines that have built up a very loyal following over the years. He has visited us in the South West on many occasions, even hosting a wine event for our customers on the Isles of Scilly.
Enjoy with a wide range of dishes, including duck, salmon and tuna.
