The brewery

The Small Batch Brewery builds on the success of our previous micro-brewery but delivers up to 3,000 pints at any one time, instead of the previous 600. There are six state-of-the-art fermenting vessels, each catching the eye with gleaming stainless steel and polished copper cladding.

Each year, our highly passionate and experienced brewing team gets creative, challenging the boundaries of brewing ingredients, beer styles, and ABVs. The Small Batch Brewery gives our brewers the freedom to experiment, and we launch an exciting programme of limited-edition beers in cask and bottles to pubs, our Visitor Centre shops, and online.

Our small batch brews take inspiration from all corners of the world. You can expect everything from juicy blonde ales to zesty IPAs, citrusy pale ales, and gorgeously rich beers from the darker side of the spectrum. Keep your eyes peeled for some fascinating collaborations along the way too. Many of our most popular beers, including our flagship Tribute pale ale, started out as small batch releases. Our exclusive Cask Club sees our latest Small Batch Brewery releases brought to select pubs across the West Country. It’s the best way to sample the exquisite flavours of our limited-edition beers. Keep an eye out for a calendar of unique brews across our managed and tenanted pub estate.
