The Hope and Anchor supports both HM Coastguard and Hope Cove Lifeboat.
Ian Pedrick has been a Coastguard for 35 years he is the current Station Officer and is Coxswain of Hope Cove Lifeboat.
In 2008 the Coastguard Boat was withdrawn from service due to government cutbacks, but in 2010 after lots of hard work and dedication Hope Cove Lifeboat was born and is now an independent Lifeboat and registered charity. This has shown true community spirit as well as a fantastic network of visitor support of which we are all so very proud.
The Hope and Anchor has played a huge part in Fundraising and has contributed to the success of the Lifeboat and will continue to be part of and support this truly worthy cause.
Blessing of Hope Cove Lifeboat

Church Fete

We also organise all the bands/music which play on a purpose built stage outside the Hope and Anchor throughout the weekend.
