St Austell Brewery to shine at The Royal Cornwall Show

Strawberry_Blonde_BottleEven if the sun doesn’t shine at this year’s Royal Cornwall Show, St Austell Brewery’s latest brew, Strawberry Blonde is sure to bring a taste of summer to the day.

Visitors to the three-day show can have an exclusive first taste of the deliciously NEW fruity lager on the St Austell Brewery stand (275) where it will be officially launched.

Strawberry Blonde (4% ABV) is made with fresh strawberries from local grower, Boddington’s Berries. Golden in colour, with a hint of rose blush, it has a crisp, refreshing taste and delicate aroma of sweet fruit with hints of vanilla.

Cornish through and through, it’s produced using local spring water filtered through granite and Cornish lager malt made from locally grown spring barley. Along with the Cornish strawberries, it’s chilled out Cornwall in a glass!

As well as being at The Royal Cornwall Show, Strawberry Blonde is available online at www.staustellbreweryshop.co.uk and in Brewery pubs across Cornwall.

What else is going on?

As well as St Austell Brewery’s range of award-winning ales on offer, the stand is set to become a hive of activity when the Fisherman’s Friends play live at 2.30pm on Saturday June 9th

Across the three days, visitors will also have a chance to win one of three kegs of Tribute ale everyday. To be in for a chance of winning visitors must visit the stand and upload and tag a picture of themselves with the Brewery’s flagship ale mascot, Trevor Tribute. Pictures can be posted to the Brewery’s Facebook page or tweeted to @Tribute_Ale or @StAustellBrew via the stand’s Wifi.

In the Food & Farming Marquee

At 3pm on Friday June 8th, St Austell Brewery’s head brewer, Roger Ryman will take to the demo stage to talk about the launch of Strawberry Blonde with Boddington’s Berries. The Brewery’s catering development manager, Nick Hemming will follow, cooking up a Cornish-inspired Paella.
